Monday started with another lazy morning. Grammy, Grandpa, Shawnie, Laurelle, Brandon, Heather, Jeff, Tom and I headed out to the Inner Harbor to check out the National Aquarium.
We saw sting rays, sharks, turtles, fish even birds...
Then we headed over to the Dolphin Show...
After the Dolphin Show Grammy and Grandpa had to head for the airport for their flight home. We said our good byes then went for the "4-D" experience - 3D with wind blowing on you, rain spitting at you and creatures tickling your feet. I can't wait for this to be the norm at movies!
Last but not least we checked out the Jellies! These are some of Tom and I's favorite things!
After the exploring the world of Jellies we were starving and decided to find some lunch. Shawnie, Laurelle, Brandon, Heather and Jeff had never been to a Hard Rock so we decided we had to take them there.
After eating at Hard Rock we headed home. I had to work the next day and Shawnie wanted to pack for the trip home, so Tom took Laurelle, Brandon, Heather and Jeff back to D.C. for the day. They even got to try their first Philly Cheesesteak! Tom had one last treat in store for the kids and took them for a ride on the bike.
Shawnie and her brood left at 2am to drive back to NYC for their flight home. It was sad to have the last of our guests leave. We really enjoyed having everyone here. It was fun to show them around our neck of the woods. Thanks to everyone who came - for lots of fun and great memories! Can't wait for next year!
